What do you fellow techs do about site access when the site is covered with snow? Shovel it yourself? Hire it done? Climb the fence? This winter has been brutal.

With the recent heat, I'm kinda looking forward to some site visits in the snow, or at least a little frosty.

We had a site in Utah that had to be dug out over 6' of snow just to get into the fence. That did not include digging the way to the door of the shelter and digging out the door because the snow reached over the doorway. I think our Project Manager had to snowshoe into the site because the truck couldn't get through the snow. Poor guy.

I'm surprised in these states mentioned especially since this is a seasonal event that anything is in place for snow or that the current conditions haven't been addressed before now. Just a thought that should come up at the next possible opportunity to those who are capable of dealing with this matter. I would think it boils down to a safety issue.

Gets sweltering hot here as well. The days I hate the most are those where it's over 110 F and no wind at all. The humidity is a bit over 40% and it's hard to breathe. No snow in the Winter at all, frost yes, snow nope.
