The Wi-Fi Alliance certification program based on Hotspot 2.0 is slated for a 2012 launch and will offer standardized mechanisms for discovery, authentication and provisioning at Wi-Fi® hotspots. This will allow for a better user experience and closer integration into service provider networks. The seminars are conducted by Wi-Fi Alliance staff and contain a detailed preview of the specification under development, an update on program milestones and adoption, and an overview of the target market for the program. The technical content of the program is complemented by a service provider keynote address and a guest presentation from the Wireless Broadband Alliance.
Who Should Attend:Technical and management professionals from service providers and equipment manufacturers. The seminars are open to Wi-Fi Alliance members and non-members. Registration is required to attend.
